Burlesque Kingdom is one of my favorite spots for a night out. Live music and beautiful dancers in an area my daddy forbid me to go to: the Red Light district in Amsterdam! The best thing tonight is I got to play there with my band Dee Ann and the Nightcaptains.

It’s a small but cosy nightclub, where tourists and locals come for a drink and a curious peek into the world of Burlesque. Fay Loren is a burlesque dancer and the organizer of this Burlesque event. Twice a month on a Friday she invites a local and an international dancer to dance with her on the small red curtain stage. A band and a d.j. fill the evening with great music and presenter strings all the entertainment together.

Tonight’s artists: dancers: Fay Loren, Tina LaBelle and Bustie LaTish,  presenter Deena Ray, D.J. Charlie and band Dee Ann and the Nightcaptains.

Deena Ray is a very funny allround entertainer, also a burlesque dancer, but tonight she presented the whole evening and sang jazzy songs like  Peggy Lee’s “Why don’t you do right”.

Watching Fay Loren makes you think you found Marilyn Monroe’s secret long lost granddaughter. Very classic and classy!

2015 burlesque Kingdom (8)I really enjoyed Bustie LaTish’s funny and sexy dance, starting as a bored cleaning lady, exploring her body with a feathery duster and ending up with a happy teaserama.

The Brittish Tina LaBelle is all glamour and tease! Wow, can’t keep my eyes off of her. She’s a little lady, but impresses you with the moves she can do with her well curved body. I love love love  her outfits.

Every two weeks, there’s a burlesque show in the middle of the Red Light district. If I were you, I would sneek out your bedroom window and let classic style and sexyness surround and inspire you.

Dance to the tunes of d.j. Charlie and let the band blow your top!
